Who we are
BritanniaBet is written by a small editorial team that works only on the British market: Charlotte Bennett, Emily Thompson and Sophie Williams. Each of us covers a different part of the site, from casino reviews and bonus terms to slots and payments, and every review and guide shows who wrote it. You can read about each writer, their background and the pages they are responsible for on our authors page.
We started the site because most casino lists we read mixed licensed and unlicensed brands, hid the bonus terms behind a link, or ranked casinos by who paid the most. We wanted a guide that a UK player could trust without reading the small print twice.
What we cover
Our core is the casino review. There are 659 of them on the site, each built around the same questions: who holds the licence, what the welcome offer really gives you, how withdrawals work, what the app and game library are like, and which sister sites share the same operator. Alongside the reviews you will find:
- an A to Z of every licensed UK casino brand, 660 brands from 96 operators, taken from the Gambling Commission register;
- bonus pages that compare 476 welcome offers by wagering, spins, deposit and time limit;
- slot reviews with RTP, volatility and maximum win from the studio, and a note wherever sources disagree;
- payment guides for 13 methods, from PayPal and Visa Debit to Paysafecard and Pay by Bank;
- 8 guides to the law, tax, GamStop and the bonus rules.
How to read our pages
Most pages open with a quick answer: two or three sentences that answer the main question, followed by the key facts in a short list. If that is all you need, you can stop there. The rest of the page explains the detail behind the answer, compares the casino or offer with others, and ends with common questions. Links in the text take you to the review, slot or guide we mention, so you can check anything for yourself.
UK licensed casinos only
Every casino on BritanniaBet holds a licence from the UK Gambling Commission. We check each one against the public register, and our copy of the register was last refreshed on 21 October 2026. A UK licence matters because it brings rules that protect you: age and identity checks, independently tested games, deposit limits, time-outs and self-exclusion, membership of GamStop, and a route to an independent dispute service if a complaint goes nowhere.
That is also why there are things you will never find here. We do not list casinos that are "not on GamStop", offshore casinos that accept UK players without a licence, or crypto casinos. Our crypto casino guide explains why no licensed UK casino takes Bitcoin. It exists to inform, and it links to no crypto or offshore site. If a casino loses its UK licence, we remove it.
How we check facts
Our rule is simple: we do not make facts up. Every number on a review, from an RTP figure to a wagering requirement, comes from a named source. For licences, that is the Gambling Commission register. For slots, it is the studio's own game page wherever possible. For offers, it is the casino's terms, and where we cannot read those from our side, recent public reviews of the same offer.
Sources often disagree. One site lists 50 spins and another lists 70, or a studio quotes one RTP and a casino runs a lower version. When that happens, we say so on the page, show the figure we think is best supported, and name the alternative. If we cannot confirm a detail at all, we write "not verified yet" rather than guessing. Payment method lists and withdrawal times that we have not confirmed are marked the same way.
How scores work
Every casino gets a score out of 10 from the same six weighted categories: licence and safety, payouts, bonus terms, games, payments and mobile. The formula is public on our how we score page. Most scores on the site are provisional at the moment: 646 of the 659 reviews show a provisional score built from public information, and every one is marked as such. They will be replaced as we complete our own account tests.
How we make money
Some casinos pay us a commission when a reader signs up through our links. That is how the site is funded, and it is why links to casinos are marked as sponsored. Commercial agreements never change a casino's score, its place in a ranking based on that score, or what we write about it. A casino that pays us can still score poorly, and a casino we have no agreement with can still top a list. Where a placement is paid, we label it.
How we stay independent
- Every casino is scored with the same public formula, whether or not we have a commercial relationship with it.
- Significant bonus terms are shown next to every offer, not hidden behind a link.
- Regulatory fines and settlements are reported in the review and reflected in the licence and safety score.
- We show where sources disagree instead of picking the number that looks best.
- We remove casinos that lose their UKGC licence.
Safer gambling comes first
Every page on the site links to free support, and our responsible gambling page explains the tools UK casinos must offer: deposit limits, time-outs, self-exclusion and GamStop. Gambling should be something you can afford to lose. If it stops being fun, the National Gambling Helpline is free and open 24 hours a day on 0808 8020 133. Our content is for adults aged 18 and over in Great Britain.
Corrections and updates
Casinos change offers often, and studios release new versions of their games. If you spot something on BritanniaBet that is out of date or wrong, tell us. We check every report against the source and correct the page. Each review shows the date it was last updated.
Work with us
For partnerships, advertising and media enquiries, write to us on Telegram at @JonyBdjoly or by email at [email protected]. We only work with operators that hold a UK Gambling Commission licence, and a partnership does not buy a better score or a softer review.
