Who writes BritanniaBet
BritanniaBet is written by three authors, each with a clear area of the site. Charlotte Bennett leads our casino reviews and the licence, safety and sister site pages. Emily Thompson edits the bonus and payment guides, from welcome offers and wagering to PayPal and Pay by Bank. Sophie Williams writes our slot reviews and explains the UK game rules. Between them they are credited with 739 pages, and every one of those pages names its author at the top and in the author box at the end.
Splitting the site this way means each subject has one person who knows it in detail and answers for it. When a casino changes its offer, a studio releases a new RTP version or the regulator changes a rule, it is clear who updates the page.
Which author to ask
If your question is about a casino, its licence, its owner or its sister sites, Charlotte Bennett is the person to ask. She is credited with 228 pages, most of them casino reviews, and she maintains the scoring formula that every review uses.
If it is about a welcome offer, a promo code, wagering or a payment method, ask Emily Thompson. Her 252 pages include casino reviews as well as bonus and payment guides, and she follows the UK bonus rules most closely.
If it is about a slot, an RTP figure or why UK games work differently, ask Sophie Williams. She is credited with 259 pages, including our slot reviews, and she keeps track of games whose RTP changes between casinos.
You do not need to find the right person yourself. Every message to our editorial address reaches the whole team, and the author of the page you mention picks it up. Include a link to the page so we can find it quickly.
How our editorial process works
Every page goes through the same steps. The author gathers the facts from primary sources first: the Gambling Commission register for licences and operators, the casino's own terms for offers, payment providers' pages for fees and limits, and the studio's page for slot figures. Secondary sources, such as recent public reviews, fill gaps only where the primary source is not available to us, and the page says which source it used.
The draft then follows our house rules. Headings and answers lead with what the reader asked. Numbers are shown in pounds where possible, so a 10x wagering requirement becomes a sum you can picture. Claims we cannot confirm are marked as not verified rather than left out or guessed. And every page ends with a way to get help: the National Gambling Helpline on 0808 8020 133.
Before a page goes live, it is checked against its sources and against our style rules. That check looks for numbers that do not match, terms that have changed and anything that reads like marketing rather than information.
Our rule on facts
We do not make facts up. That sounds obvious, but casino content online is full of figures copied from page to page until nobody knows where they came from. Our authors trace every number to a source, and where two sources disagree, for example on the number of spins in an offer or a slot's RTP, the page shows both and says which one we rely on. If a figure cannot be confirmed, the page says so.
The same applies to scores. Most casino scores on the site are provisional until our own account test, and the review labels them that way. Our scoring page sets out the formula and the fixed values used for provisional scores, so anyone can check a number.
Independence
BritanniaBet is funded by commission from some of the casinos we review. No commercial agreement changes a score, a ranking based on score, or what a review says. Casinos cannot review or approve our copy before it goes live. We only cover operators licensed by the UK Gambling Commission, and we never list casinos that sit outside GamStop.
Corrections and updates
Gambling information goes out of date quickly. Offers change monthly, new brands join the register and old ones leave it, and rules change every year or two. Each author revisits their pages when the facts behind them change, and every page shows when it was last updated.
If you spot something wrong, email [email protected] with the page and what you think should change. The author of that page checks it against the source and updates it if needed. You can read more about how the site works on our about page.
