Sunny Casino review: our verdict

Our Sunny Casino review verdict: Sunny Casino is a ProgressPlay casino on a licence shared with many sister sites. The licence and operator are confirmed on the UK register, but we could not confirm a current welcome offer, payment methods or app from a reliable, recent source.

This is a short provisional review, based on the UK register. We will expand it and replace the score after our own test.

Sunny Casino score breakdown

This is a provisional score, based on public information about the licence, offers, payments, games and apps. It will be replaced by a full score after our hands-on test. Weights and criteria are explained on how we score casinos.

Sunny Casino welcome offer

We could not confirm a current Sunny Casino welcome offer from a reliable source. Offers on ProgressPlay sites change often, so read the promotions page and its terms before you deposit, including the wagering, expiry and any promo code. Pages listing Sunny Casino bonus codes are unofficial unless the site shows the same code.

Is Sunny Casino legit?

Yes, Sunny Casino is legit. It is licensed by the UK Gambling Commission to ProgressPlay Limited, account 39335, which you can check on the public register. The licence requires Sunny Casino to verify every player, offer deposit limits and time-outs, and take part in GamStop. In August 2025 the Gambling Commission fined ProgressPlay £1 million for anti-money laundering and social responsibility failures between 2021 and 2024, issued a formal warning, attached conditions to its licence and required a third-party audit. It was the company's second enforcement case, after a £175,718 settlement in 2022. Our licence score reflects the 2025 fine.

Who owns Sunny Casino?

Sunny Casino is one of ProgressPlay's own brands and runs under ProgressPlay Limited, the Malta-based company that holds the UK licence for more than a hundred sites on its platform.

Sunny Casino sister sites

Sunny Casino sister sites on the same licence include 21BetsCasino, 21LuckyBet, 777Bet, 777Tigers and AcedBet. Our Casino Kings, Winissimo and JeffBet reviews cover three of them. A self-exclusion with the operator covers every brand on the licence. The full list is on our ProgressPlay sister sites page.

Sunny Casino games

Sunny Casino runs on the ProgressPlay platform, shared by more than a hundred UK sites, so the games, cashier and bonus rules are largely the same across the network. UK slot rules apply: a £5 maximum stake per spin, or £2 for players aged 18 to 24, and no autoplay or bonus buy.

Sunny Casino withdrawals

We could not confirm Sunny Casino withdrawal times or payment methods from a reliable source. As at every UK licensed site, your identity must be verified before your first withdrawal, so upload documents early. Reviews of other ProgressPlay sites describe processing within one business day and a 1% withdrawal fee capped at £3.

Sunny Casino app

We could not confirm a Sunny Casino app. The site works in your phone's browser.

Sunny Casino welcome offer and promo code

Sunny Casino promo code. We could not confirm a Sunny Casino promo code.

Sunny Casino no deposit bonus. We found no current Sunny Casino no deposit bonus from a reliable source.

Safer gambling at Sunny Casino

Sunny Casino offers deposit limits, reality checks, time-outs and self-exclusion. For a block on every UK site, use GamStop. The National Gambling Helpline on 0808 8020 133 is free and confidential.

How to join Sunny Casino

1. Open an account using your real details. Like every UK licensed casino, Sunny Casino has to verify who you are, and details that do not match can hold up your first withdrawal.
2. Open the promotions page before you deposit. We could not confirm a current Sunny Casino welcome offer, so read the offer on the site and its significant terms yourself.
3. Check the wagering, the minimum deposit, the time limit and any cap on winnings. Under UK rules wagering cannot be more than 10 times the bonus.
4. Set a deposit limit in your account settings before you play. It takes a minute and you can lower it at any time.

What to check in the Sunny Casino offer terms

Without a confirmed Sunny Casino offer to describe, the useful thing is to know what to read when you find it. UK rules put the significant terms next to the offer, so these points should be easy to spot.

• Wagering. Since 19 January 2026 it cannot exceed 10 times the bonus. No wagering is better still.
• Minimum deposit. And whether every payment method counts towards it.
• Time limit. How long you have to use spins or clear wagering.
• Win cap. Any limit on what you can win or convert from the bonus.
• Promo code. Use a code only if the site itself shows it.

Sunny Casino and the ProgressPlay network

Sunny Casino is one of 106 brands on the licence of ProgressPlay Limited, 88 of which are white labels. Its score of 8.1/10 is below the average of its sister sites, 8.2/10, and puts it #62 of 106 in the group. The highest rated sister site is Panda Bingo at 8.6/10.

We have confirmed offers at 62 of its 105 sister sites. Offers are often limited to one per person across a group, so compare the sister sites before you register rather than after. Our ProgressPlay sister sites page lists every brand.

How Sunny Casino ranks in our UK list

Sunny Casino is #641 of the 659 UK licensed sites we review. Its 8.1/10 compares with an average of 8.4/10 across all reviews and 8.3/10 across our short provisional reviews. Its strongest category is licence and safety at 9.5/10 and its weakest is bonus terms at 7.0/10, because we could not confirm a current offer.

The score is provisional. It uses fixed values for each category from public information, so it moves when we confirm more facts or complete our own test. Our scoring page shows the rule for each category.

Who Sunny Casino suits

On the facts we have, Sunny Casino suits players who already know and like other ProgressPlay sites. Look elsewhere if you want a confirmed welcome offer before you sign up, you need a specific payment method (we have not confirmed the list), you prefer a native app to a mobile site or the licence holder's regulatory record matters to you.

What we checked for this Sunny Casino review

For this review we confirmed the licence holder, ProgressPlay Limited, and its UKGC account on the public register (checked 21 October 2026), the domain sunnycasino.com listed under that licence, the 106 brands that share the licence and the licence holder's enforcement record. Not yet verified: withdrawal times, the payment methods, the size of the game library, whether there is a live casino, whether there is an app and the welcome offer. Where the review mentions those, it says so, and we do not fill gaps with guesses.
