GeckoPlay review: our verdict

Our GeckoPlay review verdict: GeckoPlay is a SkillOnNet casino on a licence shared with many sister sites. The licence and operator are confirmed on the UK register, but we could not confirm a current welcome offer, payment methods or app from a reliable, recent source.

This is a short provisional review, based on the UK register. We will expand it and replace the score after our own test.

GeckoPlay score breakdown

This is a provisional score, based on public information about the licence, offers, payments, games and apps. It will be replaced by a full score after our hands-on test. Weights and criteria are explained on how we score casinos.

GeckoPlay welcome offer

We could not confirm a current GeckoPlay welcome offer from a reliable source. Offers on SkillOnNet sites change often, so read the promotions page and its terms before you deposit, including the wagering, expiry and any promo code. Pages listing GeckoPlay bonus codes are unofficial unless the site shows the same code.

Is GeckoPlay legit?

Yes, GeckoPlay is legit. It is licensed by the UK Gambling Commission to Skill On Net Limited, account 39326, which you can check on the public register. The licence requires GeckoPlay to verify every player, offer deposit limits and time-outs, and take part in GamStop. In May 2023 SkillOnNet agreed a £305,150 settlement with the Gambling Commission, plus £9,079 in costs, over anti-money laundering and player protection failings. That is below the level at which our scoring rule lowers the licence score.

Who owns GeckoPlay?

GeckoPlay runs as a white label on the licence of Skill On Net Limited. A partner supplies the brand, while SkillOnNet holds the licence and runs the games, payments and checks. Your account and any complaint are with the licence holder.

GeckoPlay sister sites

GeckoPlay sister sites on the same licence include 44aces, Bacana Play, Casino And Friends, EUcasino and Euro King Club. Our PlayOJO, Spin Genie and Slingo reviews cover three of them. A self-exclusion with the operator covers every brand on the licence. The full list is on our Skill On Net sister sites page.

GeckoPlay games

GeckoPlay runs on the SkillOnNet platform, also used by PlayOJO, Spin Genie and Slingo, so the games, cashier and bonus rules are largely shared across the network. UK slot rules apply: a £5 maximum stake per spin, or £2 for players aged 18 to 24, and no autoplay or bonus buy.

GeckoPlay withdrawals

We could not confirm GeckoPlay withdrawal times or payment methods from a reliable source. As at every UK licensed site, your identity must be verified before your first withdrawal, so upload documents early.

GeckoPlay app

We could not confirm a GeckoPlay app. The site works in your phone's browser.

GeckoPlay welcome offer and promo code

GeckoPlay promo code. We could not confirm a GeckoPlay promo code.

GeckoPlay no deposit bonus. We found no current GeckoPlay no deposit bonus from a reliable source.

Safer gambling at GeckoPlay

GeckoPlay offers deposit limits, reality checks, time-outs and self-exclusion. For a block on every UK site, use GamStop. The National Gambling Helpline on 0808 8020 133 is free and confidential.

How to join GeckoPlay

1. Open an account using your real details. Like every UK licensed casino, GeckoPlay has to verify who you are, and details that do not match can hold up your first withdrawal.
2. Open the promotions page before you deposit. We could not confirm a current GeckoPlay welcome offer, so read the offer on the site and its significant terms yourself.
3. Check the wagering, the minimum deposit, the time limit and any cap on winnings. Under UK rules wagering cannot be more than 10 times the bonus.
4. Set a deposit limit in your account settings before you play. It takes a minute and you can lower it at any time.

What to check in the GeckoPlay offer terms

Without a confirmed GeckoPlay offer to describe, the useful thing is to know what to read when you find it. UK rules put the significant terms next to the offer, so these points should be easy to spot.

• Wagering. Since 19 January 2026 it cannot exceed 10 times the bonus. No wagering is better still.
• Minimum deposit. And whether every payment method counts towards it.
• Time limit. How long you have to use spins or clear wagering.
• Win cap. Any limit on what you can win or convert from the bonus.
• Promo code. Use a code only if the site itself shows it.

GeckoPlay and the SkillOnNet network

GeckoPlay is one of 47 brands on the licence of Skill On Net Limited, 16 of which are white labels. Its score of 8.2/10 is below the average of its sister sites, 8.3/10, and puts it #38 of 47 in the group. The highest rated sister site is PlayOJO at 9.1/10.

We have confirmed offers at 37 of its 46 sister sites, 1 of them with no wagering. Offers are often limited to one per person across a group, so compare the sister sites before you register rather than after. Our Skill On Net sister sites page lists every brand.

How GeckoPlay ranks in our UK list

GeckoPlay is #478 of the 659 UK licensed sites we review. Its 8.2/10 compares with an average of 8.4/10 across all reviews and 8.3/10 across our short provisional reviews. Its strongest category is licence and safety at 10.0/10 and its weakest is bonus terms at 7.0/10, because we could not confirm a current offer.

The score is provisional. It uses fixed values for each category from public information, so it moves when we confirm more facts or complete our own test. Our scoring page shows the rule for each category.

Who GeckoPlay suits

On the facts we have, GeckoPlay suits players who already know and like other SkillOnNet sites. Look elsewhere if you want a confirmed welcome offer before you sign up, you need a specific payment method (we have not confirmed the list) or you prefer a native app to a mobile site.

What we checked for this GeckoPlay review

For this review we confirmed the licence holder, Skill On Net Limited, and its UKGC account on the public register (checked 21 October 2026), the domain geckoplay.co.uk listed under that licence, the 47 brands that share the licence and the licence holder's enforcement record. Not yet verified: withdrawal times, the payment methods, the size of the game library, whether there is a live casino, whether there is an app and the welcome offer. Where the review mentions those, it says so, and we do not fill gaps with guesses.
