What counts as a low wagering casino bonus now
A low wagering casino bonus asks you to bet the bonus fewer times than usual before it becomes cash. Until 2026, 35× was normal at UK casinos and anything under 20× was called low wagering. On 19 January 2026 the Gambling Commission capped wagering at 10 times the bonus for every UK offer. Overnight, 10× became the most a casino could ask, and most casinos moved straight to it: 319 of the casino and bingo offers we list sit at exactly 10×.
That changes what "low wagering casino" should mean. We use it for offers at 5× or less, which take half the play of the cap or less. There are 69 of them on this page.
Why most low wagering casino bonus offers are bingo bonuses
Bingo sites have long used low playthrough, often 2× to 4× the bonus, because the bonus can only be spent on bingo tickets. 64 of the 69 offers here are bingo bonuses. They work well if you play bingo: a £20 bonus at 4× needs £80 of tickets, which goes a long way at penny and 5p rooms.
The catch is that bingo bonuses usually cannot be used on slots, and they often expire within five days. If you mainly want slots, a bingo bonus is less useful, however low the wagering. Our bingo bonuses page covers them in more detail.
Low wagering welcome bonus offers for slots
For slot players, the choice in the UK is now between no wagering offers and offers at 10×. Casino offers between those two are rare: only 5 on this page are not bingo bonuses. Most of them are free spins where the winnings carry a small playthrough.
In practice, the best low wagering option for slots is usually no wagering spins. They pay winnings as cash, and 86 offers work that way. See our no wagering casino page for the list.
What is a 5x wagering requirement?
A 5x wagering requirement means you must place bets worth five times the bonus before the bonus, and anything you won with it, becomes cash you can withdraw. On a £20 bonus, 5x means £100 of bets. On a £10 bonus, £50. Only bets made with bonus money usually count, and some games count for less than 100%.
The same logic applies at every level. A 1x wagering requirement means betting the bonus once, so a £20 bonus needs £20 of bets. A 10x requirement, the most UK casinos can now ask, means £200 on a £20 bonus. The older 35x requirements, which no longer apply in Great Britain, meant £700 on the same £20. Our 10× wagering cap guide explains the rule in full.
How much play a low wagering casino bonus saves
The cost of wagering is roughly the house edge on everything you bet. On slots that return around 96%, each £100 of wagering costs about £4 on average. A £20 bonus at 10× means £200 of bets, so about £8 of expected cost. The same bonus at 4× needs £80 of bets and costs about £3. With no wagering, there is no cost at all.
These figures are averages over many players. One session can go far better or worse. What low wagering does reliably is shorten the time between claiming an offer and being able to withdraw what is left.
Casinos with low wagering requirements
The casinos with low wagering requirements in this list fall into two groups. The larger group is bingo sites, many on the same network, where the welcome offer is a bingo bonus at 2× to 4×. The smaller group is casino and slots sites that set a lower multiplier on free spins winnings or a small bonus. You can sort the list by wagering with the filter at the top to see the lowest first, or switch the type to free spins to hide the bingo offers.
When you compare casino bonus low wagering requirements across sites, look at the multiplier together with the bonus size. A 2x requirement on a £5 bonus is £10 of bets; a 4x requirement on a £40 bonus is £160. The second needs more play but may leave more behind if it goes well.
Casino bonus low wagering requirements: other terms to check
A low multiplier is not the only term that matters. Check the expiry, which on bingo bonuses is often five days. Check which games count: bingo bonuses are usually bingo-only, and casino bonuses often exclude table and live games. Check whether the bonus has a conversion cap, which limits what you can turn into cash. And check the deposit method, since some sites exclude e-wallets from welcome offers.
Also check what the wagering applies to. UK rules cap the total at 10 times the bonus amount, but sites count it in different ways, so read how each one works it out.
How to claim a low wagering casino bonus
- Use the filters to pick a type: bingo bonuses, or casino offers only.
- Note any code on the card and open the site through the claim button.
- Register, enter the code if needed and deposit the minimum.
- Play the bonus on the games it allows and track the wagering in your account.
- Withdraw once the wagering is complete and your account is verified.
Set a deposit limit when you register. A low wagering bonus is still a reason to keep playing, and the limit helps you stop when you planned to.
