Kong Casino review: our verdict

Our Kong Casino review verdict: Kong Casino is one of the better-known Jumpman Gaming sites, with about 3,000 games, apps for iPhone and Android, and a welcome offer of a 50% bonus up to £100 for a £10 deposit at 10× wagering. Two terms hold it back: what you can convert from bonus funds is capped at your lifetime deposits, up to £250, and every withdrawal costs £2.50 with a 72-hour pending period. Jumpman paid £500,000 in a 2022 settlement with the Gambling Commission.

This is a provisional review, based on the UK register, the published terms and public reporting. We will replace the score after our own test.

Kong Casino score breakdown

This is a provisional score, based on public information about the licence, offers, payments, games and apps. It will be replaced by a full score after our hands-on test. Weights and criteria are explained on how we score casinos.

Kong Casino welcome bonus

The Kong Casino welcome offer is currently 50% Bonus up to £100. Opt in and make a first deposit of £10 or more, and 50% of it is added as bonus funds, up to £100. Only bonus cash counts towards the 10× wagering, and the most you can convert to real money is equal to your lifetime deposits, up to £250. Bonus balances can be removed if you do not log in for more than seven days, and you cannot use promotions while a withdrawal is pending.

The same review describes a 100% match up to £200 with 50 spins in its own test, which conflicts with the published terms. Check the offer when you register.

Is Kong Casino legit?

Yes, Kong Casino is legit. It is licensed by the UK Gambling Commission to Jumpman Gaming Limited, account 39175, which you can check on the public register. The licence requires Kong Casino to verify every player, test its games, offer deposit limits and time-outs, and take part in GamStop. Complaints not resolved within eight weeks can go to the dispute service named in the terms.

In May 2022 Jumpman Gaming agreed to pay £500,000 in lieu of a financial penalty, plus £13,594 in costs, over anti-money laundering and social responsibility failings and a rule on multiple accounts. That is below the level at which our scoring rule lowers the licence score.

Who owns Kong Casino?

Kong Casino runs on the licence of Jumpman Gaming Limited, which runs more than a hundred UK slot and bingo sites on the same platform. Kong is listed as a white label, so a partner supplies the brand while Jumpman holds the licence and runs the games, payments and checks.

Kong Casino sister sites

Kong Casino sister sites on the same licence include 123 Spins, 24 Spin, Aladdin Slots, Amazon Slots and Amigo Slots. Our Amazon Slots and Dove Bingo reviews cover two of them. A self-exclusion with Jumpman covers every brand on the licence. The full list is on our Jumpman Gaming sister sites page.

Kong Casino games

A recent review counts about 3,000 games, most of them slots, with more than 100 live tables and the usual blackjack, roulette and baccarat. UK slot rules apply: a £5 maximum stake per spin, or £2 for players aged 18 to 24, and no autoplay or bonus buy.

Mega Reel and loyalty rewards

Existing players earn trophies as they play, which earn spins on the Mega Reel. The reel pays bonus spins and other prizes, and higher loyalty levels bring better rewards, from about five spins at the first levels to 20 or more at level 16 and above. These rewards follow the amount you stake, so they never make up for losses.

Kong Casino withdrawal time, fees and payments

We have not verified the Kong Casino withdrawal time ourselves yet. The published terms describe a 72-hour pending period, a £2.50 fee on each withdrawal and a £10 minimum, with funds usually arriving in one to five working days after that. Payment methods we have confirmed are Visa Debit, Mastercard Debit, Paysafecard, Pay by Phone, PayPal, Neteller and Skrill; Pay by Mobile deposits carry a fee on small amounts. Your account must be verified before your first withdrawal.

Kong Casino app

A recent review lists Kong Casino apps on the App Store and Google Play, and says the mobile site works well too.

What the welcome bonus is worth

A £20 deposit gets a £10 bonus, which at 10× wagering needs £100 of play, costing about £4 on average on slots returning around 96%. That leaves about £6 of value. The full £100 bonus needs a £200 deposit and £1,000 of play. Factor in the £2.50 withdrawal fee, which takes a large share of a small win.

Why the withdrawal fee matters

Most UK casinos do not charge for withdrawals. A £2.50 fee is small on a large payout but significant on a £20 one, so withdraw in fewer, larger amounts rather than many small ones, and keep the 72-hour pending period in mind.
